The game is incredible! I had a lot of fun, but it was tough. I'm still making my way to the final boss. I like that there's not much explanation on the cards, and you must often try different things to see what works best.
Hey awesome game! I really got sucked in and kept playing non-stop until I beat it with a crazy broken build haha! (I believe my trick was being able to use the practice dummy card 3 times because of my deck setup and plinth stacking, allowing me to kill the final boss in I think 3 turns? lol)
I am very looking forward to a full release of this!
Luckily none of the bugs I encountered were game-breaking and I believe they are already being looked at.
I'm gonna go finish filling out the map, have a good one!
Absolutely Brilliant prototype. I could be mistaken but it felt very Inscryption inspired (and I'd implore anyone who enjoyed this to give it a try as it's also a masterpiece) while having it's own unique aesthetic and mechanics that made it super enjoyable to play without it being too difficult. 10/10!
This game gives me a different experience about card games, it's so fantastic! But if you team could add some hotkeys like one that connects to the End Turn button? And I so like that parctice dummy card can give the round unlimited growth, But the those golden cards which is permanent buff are too few, I hope to see more extensive game content Otherwise, could you open another way to contribute you team through alipay, i don't have a paypal account.
love the game and have beat it multiple times and in multiple ways in my runs of the game I have found two bugs
1. I was going though the door and the map was pulling up I miss clicked on one of my green cards and I got healed but when the map when back down the card was still there I tried to replicate this but couldn't so this may be my mind playing tricks on me
2. I was in a fight and had two stay puffed card on hand and the card should have stopped me from dying but instead my screen darkened like how it is right before you go to the guy who tells you your progress then I was able to move but I never killed the enemies and my cards switched to green and I could use them just fine so I continued to the next battle and I was able to attack but when I tried to end my turn the end turn button disappeared but enemies never attacked

Were you playing an older version of the game when you ran into those bugs? The issue with Stay Puffed turning you into a ghost was resolved a few versions back.
This game is AWESOME! I recently beat it, and good god, the gameplay loop keeps hooking me back in for more. There are so many ways to build powerful decks, yet death always lurks around the corner.
I can't wait to see more, and encourage y'all to give it a go! :)
side note, BUGS: Sometimes when I beat a boss, a random damage number particle will repeat itself and stack over itself, creating a Terrible Number Tower inside that room.
The "no thanks" option for selecting a card always remains greyed out, so right now you cannot reject a card, even if there are cards that could be detrimental to your current deck build.
Finally beat the game, damn it was such a tough fight of strategy (and RNG lol) I think the aesthetic of the game is amazing, but sometimes the game mechanism can feel overwhelming and unforgiving sometimes (overly rely on rng when using cards, I hope there will be a card that let your choose the card you want for an energy in both exploration and combat). Campsite card could be at 1 cost of energy instead to improve the flexibility when exploration. Also I feel there should be more levels before major boss fights and therefore more rewards after each combat (at least 1 chest or toad shrine/campfire that is already there) Lastly the shop could feel redundant at times due to inconsistency (sometimes it cost food to buy and sometimes it's key, sometimes it just gave you stonepick even though I have foods and keys) and lack of good choice (the weapon could be pre-buff, since you wouldn't really need weapon with barely any damage in late game).
Also a question: The boss that was suppose to evolve after death (phase 2,3,4) just dies when I hit them with high damage units, is that supposed to happened like some kind game mechanic or something?
The prototype is awesome, but I found a bug with the toad (v0.4.22). Sometimes using it soft locks the game. After selecting a card to delete, the UI doesn't close. I can look around and click 'No Thanks' but the button doesn't do anything. This happened in two different runs. The most recent time I used a toad card (camp) in the same room as a toad pond. I can't remember if the situation was the same the first time it happened.
Had a great time playing this game. The art is wonderful and it’s the exact right level of challenging. Have played it through quite a few times now and been having a fantastic time.
Had one issue in the run I just did though, where I opened the map when in the ‘gloom’ and the game thought I died. I understand what it takes to make a game but wanted to bring it to your attention.

after the first loading screen my screen goes black, i can still move the cursor but there seem to be nothing on the screen, no music or other sounds, can someone help? (the image is what i see after the loading text)
One of the better developed indie games I have played, I really like the colors and soundtracks, I also enjoyed the deck building and the different combinations that you can do.
Hi Devs, first off I am extremely satisfied with the gameplay and the new feeling it gives throughout the play through is fantastic, however there is one large issue. When claiming new cards, occasionally the text describing the cards is highlighted in black making it difficult to see, half of the time I am guessing what they do so I'd consider this a great flaw. Otherwise amazing work and I look forward to playing the game in the future.
Awesome game—I LOVE the aesthetic! I'm seeing the same thing (OSX Silicon, OSX 15.0) text on some cards has each letter in a black box. Some kind of graphic glitch?
At one time I had so many cards at once on hand that I could not read the ones to the far left or right... Maybe something that could be fixed in the future.

I've been obsessed with this since it came out. Honestly I like that it's not necessarily perfectly-balanced and some builds can get out of hand. The art and overall cozy vibe are great. The idea of a separate deck for camping makes that part of the game so much more interesting. Looking forward to buying & playing a full version in the future!
Ive played the original game dev version of this game and i thought it was dead not gonna lie, but it seems they have continued working on it! very exited to play this! (haven't played yet at the time of this comment)

I've been playing for two hours. Replay value is insane, especially for a WIP. I loooove the design, and the simple, smooth mechanics make this a joy to pick up and play. Cards are simple but not boring, hands can be complex and I can't wait to pick up more combos. I have never been a fan of deckbuilding games- until Inscryption- but this one piqued my interest. The art style is a definite bonus. I can totally envision this as a full game. Great work, devs, super fun, def held my attention. Edit: one thing I noticed was 'pitiful' is spelled wrong on the death screen. That's all :)
given that English is one of my only major flexes, I'm glad to help. Seriously, I had so much fun playing this. When games like this get too complex I get bogged down and find myself losing interest, but this one was legitimately fun, I WANTED to replay it every time I died, which is rare for me. I'll def be tracking the progress of this one!!

I don't usually get into deckbuilding games but the beautiful art style, shroomy theme, and slick intriguing design of this game pulled me in.
What if the mouse wheel could move the player forward? Increase laziness level to one-handed!

i play on a tower pc and i downloaed the last version of the game that was uploaded 5 or 6 days ago EDIT: the version is 0.4.20 i think

same here when i use a lower resolution on my weak PC

Does beating the game cause any sort of metaprogression? I haven't noticed new cards unlocking or anything.
